1, 2, Step

I know this is going to be hard to believe, but I am not a hip-hop dancer. Silly dancer? Yes. Fat dancer? Absolutely. But a dancer with attitude and moves? Heck no.

So as part of our “Weird Shift Weekend” for the Alchemist’s class, we are requried to do a “Shine”. In other words, a group of us has to get up in front of the other 65 people and make fools of ourselves.

Right up my alley.

We have been assigned “1, 2, Step” by Ciara. It’s a rappy, hip-hoppy, song about dancing. Our group got together last night. Two of the ladies are excellent dancers, the other two, including yours truly, are terrible.

No worries. I am an expert in making a fool of myself.

  2. Ah… so the key to my dancing is to boo Madonna and to wear a black sequined tuxedo dress? Very interesting. Thanks for the tip.

You get the most useful spam…who knew?! Anyway, good luck with the dancing. I only dance if I am 1)alone or 2) in a very dark room. It creates the illusion that I know what I’m doing.
