Because above all else, you want my opinion….

We are a household that watches American Idol. Last night there were 7 people in front of my TV. I would like to make my predictions:
The Top 5:
- Michael Johns
- Carly Smithson
- David Archuleta
- David Cook
- Brooke White (*This is the only one I’m not sure of, but the LDS Vote has always kept people in longer than they should be)
The Final 3:
- Michael Johns
- Carly Smithson
- David Archuleta
The Winner:
- Either Carly or Michael… David is amazing, but he is too young and doesn’t have the stage presence.
And on another musical note, I have lately become quite enamored with opera. This is an area in my musical experience I haven’t fully discovered, but I am very close to deciding to by season tickets to the Utah Opera. They are doing Madame Butterfly in the fall, and I think I want to go. I’ve been checking out opera CDs from the library, and much to everyone’s dismay at work, I listen to them all day. (In truth, I turn the volume down and only sing while in the bathroom) I have found that some arias are so exquisite that it is a spiritual experience to listen to them.
So, there you have it. I first learned I was opinionated when my neighbor, Mitzi Lowe informed me. Apparently I was way too outspoken for my own good at the age of 13. Actually, Mitzi deserves her own post, because she is truly one of a kind. More on Mitzi later…
However, she was right. I am opinionated and you love me for it don’t you?

Michael Johns SO DAMN HOT!
And here I was thinking I was going to see some drunk blogging…
Yes we do!
